Indian challenge at the French Open Badminton came to an end with PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy losing their matches in Womens' and Men singles event respectively.
Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu lost to China's He Bingjiao 21-20,21-17 last night in the pre-quarter finals. In men's singles, Pranay lost to Taipei's



Chow Tien Chen 19-21,16-21 in a hard fought tie.
Earlier, Ajay Jayaram lost 22-20, 10-21, 18-21 Indonesia's Anthony Ginting in the opening round, while another Indian shuttler B. Sai Praneeth had to exit from the first round after losing the match to South Korea's Hyun Il Lee 21-15, 8-21, 19-21.
