The Badminton Asia Championships gold medalists had a good start reaching the semi-finals of the maiden BWF tour. Subsequently, Satwik got injured in the second round of the Indian Open which kept him out of action for more than a month. The pair returned back to the BWF tour and took part in the prestigious All England Badminton Championships (losing in the 2nd round).
