Indian shuttler Lakshya Sen has jumped two spots to attain his career-best ranking of sixth in the latest BWF rankings. Meanwhile, PV Sindhu also jumped up a place to become world number five.

Sen has enjoyed a marvelous 2022 season, winning the Commonwealth Games Men’s singles Gold in Birmingham in August, while also being part of the team that won the Thomas Cup. Newly-crowned French Open champions



Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty also jumped up one spot to return to their career-best ranking of seven in men's doubles.

The women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand jumped five places to achieve their career-high ranking on 23. Meanwhile, the mixed doubles pair of Ishaan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto also attained their career-high rankings, moving up two places to attain the 28th spot.
