Boxing, Wrestling to kick start at Khelo India youth games today

Boxing, Wrestling and Basketball will kick start at the 3rd khelo India youth games in Guwahati today. Medals will be decided in cycling, shooting and wrestling.

On day six, Maharashtra is still leading the medal tally followed by Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Kerala, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Manipur and West Bengal. Khelo India successfully fulfilling their motto to promote grass root sports talent of country.

Beside this there was a big pool of those players who got scholarship in earlier two edition of games and won their first medals this time. 25 meter pistol silver medal winner Delhi’s Ishika said Khelo India scholarship gave her big support to continue shooting.
