Big Bash League (BBL) 2020 to be held from December 10 to February 2021

The 10th edition of the KFC Big Bash League will start on Thursday (December 10) with the Hobart Hurricanes taking on defending champions Sydney Sixers in the opening clash at the Blundstone Arena in Hobart.

Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Perth Scorchers, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Sydney Sixers, Sydney Thunder will play each other twice in the league stage of BBL 10.

Cricket Australia has decided to introduce three new rules -- Power Surge, X-Factor Player and the Bash Boost -- in the 10th edition of the BBL. Notably, BBL 10 will witness as many as 61 matches including five knockout-round matches, over the course of the next two months, which will be played across Australia.
