Asian Athletics Championships: Gulveer Singh wins Gold in running

In athletics, India’s Gulveer Singh has clinched the gold medal in the Men’s 10,000-metre race at the Asian Athletics Championships in Gumi, South Korea. He secured the top spot clocking 28 minutes, 38.63 seconds.

Earlier, Servin Sebasthiyan opened India’s medal tally at the Asian Athletics



Championships. Servin clinched the bronze medal in the men’s 20 kilometre race walk, clocking 1 hour, 21 minutes, and 13.6 seconds today.

Wang Zhaozhao of China won the gold medal, while Japan’s Kento Yoshikawa secured the silver. Another Indian athlete, Amit, finished fifth.
