Ashwini Ponnapa, Satwiksairaj reach semifinals of Yonex Dutch Open

In Badminton, Indian duo of Ashwini Ponnapa and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy reached the semifinals in mixed doubles of the Yonex Dutch Open.

The Indian pair beat Scot Evans of Ireland and Swedish Amanda Hogstrom

21-18, 21-14 in the quarterfinals at Almere, the Netherlands yesterday. The match lasted just 32 minutes.

Ponnapa and Rankireddy are the last surviving Indian shuttlers in the tournament.
