Anshu Malik wins silver medal in 57 kg competition in Rome

In Wrestling, teen sensation Anshu Malik won silver in the 57 kg competition in Rome yesterday. The 18-year-old lost to Nigeria's Odunayo Adekuoroye.

A dominant Vinesh Phogat also downed two tough Chinese rivals on her way to the 53kg final of the Rome



Ranking Series event. She won by technical superiority against Khrystyna Bereza and Lannuan Luo, before getting the better of Qianyu Pang. She will now fight for her first gold of the season, against Ecuador's Luisa Elizabeth Valverde Melendres.
