The 12th-ranked Indian looked in complete command as he dismantled world No. 6
Li Shifeng 21-13, 21-16 in 45 minutes at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham.
Lakshya will next face the winner of the quarter-final between Canada's Victor Lai and Japan's Koki Watanabe as he prepares for his third men's singles semi-final appearance at the prestigious All England Championships.
