India's Lakshya Sen produced a ruthless, high-energy display to storm into the men's singles semi-finals of the All England Open Badminton Championships, thrashing China's Li Shifeng in straight games in Birmingham on Friday.

The 12th-ranked Indian looked in complete command as he dismantled world No. 6

Li Shifeng 21-13, 21-16 in 45 minutes at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham.

Lakshya will next face the winner of the quarter-final between Canada's Victor Lai and Japan's Koki Watanabe as he prepares for his third men's singles semi-final appearance at the prestigious All England Championships.
