The Indian challenge came to an end at the All England Open 2020 after PV Sindhu suffered a quarterfinal defeat against Japan's Nozomi Okuhara in Birmingham on Friday.

The Indian gave up on a game advantage to suffer defeats in successive games and lose the match 21-12, 15-21, 13-21 to her old Japanese nemesis in a match that ended in 68 minutes.
