Abhishek Sharma added another milestone to his growing T20I legacy by becoming the fastest batter to smash 100 sixes in the format. The left-handed batter achieved the feat during the first T20I against Harry Brook’s England at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street on Wednesday, July 1.
The 25-year-old batter reached the landmark in just 785 balls, surpassing the previous record held by West Indies batter Evin Lewis, who had taken 789 deliveries.
Abhishek's fearless approach at the top of the order has made him one of India's most destructive white-ball batters, with his ability to clear the ropes consistently setting him apart.
