Over 350 players will be auctioned for the upcoming Indian Premier League Cricket in Bengaluru today. The IPL series begins from the 5th of April and will continue till 21st of May. 
Meanwhile, Committee of Administrators (COA) headed by former CAG Vinod Rai, has barred three top BCCI officials CK Khanna, Amitabh Choudhary and Anirudh Chaudhry from attending the IPL players' auction. 
In a statement,



it said that these officials and any other persons who claim to be ex-officio members of the IPL Governing Council on account of being office bearers of the BCCI, shall not be entitled to attend the IPL Player Auctions.Giving reasons for the bar, the COA said the issue regarding validity of the undertakings filed by such persons pursuant to the order dated 2nd January 2017 is still pending before the Supreme Court.
