World Cup hero Messi receives guard of honour from PSG teammates

Lionel Messi received a hero's welcome upon his arrival in Paris to reunite with his Paris Saint-Germain teammates on Wednesday, November 4. Messi had returned from his hometown after having celebrated the FIFA World Cup 2022 triumph with his friends and family.

Messi was given a guard of honor by his Paris Saint-Germain teammates and support



staff as he returned to training at the Parc des Princes. He was also presented with a special trophy at the felicitation ceremony.

Earlier in the day, Messi was given a hero's welcome as he arrived at the Paris airport. Thousands of fans had line-up to catch a glimpse of the Argentina captain, who achieved his long-standing dream in Qatar in December.
