Sindhu, Sameer Verma enter 2nd round of Australian Open

India had a good day at the Australian Open in Sydney today. In singles, top shuttlers P.V Sindhu, Sameer Verma and B.Sai Praneeth progressed to the second round. 

In Men's Doubles, the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and



Chirag Shetty progressed to the second round. 

However, the duo of Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy lost to Korean combination of Baek Ha Na and Kim Hye Rin, in Women's Doubles.
