In poll bound Karnataka many mega rallies and road shows are planned today and tomorrow before the public campaign for the assembly election concludes on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark upon a mammoth 26 kms long road show in Bengaluru today morning and address two public rallies in Badami and Haveri. For the first time during the Karnataka election, 

Congress senior leader Sonia Gandhi will campaign in Hubballi today evening. Her son Rahul Gandhi and Congress National President Mallikarjuna Kharge will be present on this occasion. Rahul Gandhi is also addressing two public meetings in Belagavi today. Congress State President D K Shivakumar will campaign in Hassan, Mandya and Ramanagara today. 

The JD(S) supremo H D Devegowda will be releasing the Bengaluru city manifesto of his party today. The party state President C M Ibrahim will be present on this occasion. Aam Aadmi Party State President Prithvi Reddy released the manifesto of the party in Bengaluru yesterday. It



promises more allocation of funds to the education and health sector and to initiate programmes for the all round development of the state.

Bengaluru city is all set for the mega road show by the Prime Minister today. It will start from Someshwara Sabha Bhavan in J P Nagar and pass through Jayanagar, Bull Temple road in Basavanagudi, Sirsi circle near Mysore Road, touch Magadi junction near Prasanna theatre, pass by Havanuru junction in Basaveshwara nagar and end at Gokak movement park in Malleshwaram in the afternoon. 

In view of the Prime Minister’s road show, the police department has asked the public to avoid these roads between 8.00 am and 1.00pm today. However the police have been asked to ensure that ambulances pass by on priority basis. Bengaluru has 28 assembly segments and the Prime Minister will cover 17 constituencies today and tomorrow. As on date, BJP holds 15 MLA seats, Congress 12 and JD(S) one seat in Bengaluru.
