Congress releases list of 17 candidates for ensuing Chhattisgarh Assembly elections

The Congress has released a list of 17 candidates for the ensuing Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. The party has renominated its five sitting MLAs in this list. 

According to a party statement, incumbent legislators Motilal Dewangan will contest from



Janjgir-Champa, Janak Ram Verma from Balodabazar and Anila Bhedia from Dondi Lohara.

With this, the party has so far announced candidates for 72 constituencies out of 90 which are going to the two-phased polls next month.
