Campaigning for assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh has reached its peak. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies in Kangra and Hamirpur districts of the state today. 

On the other hand, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also reached Shimla yesterday. He is scheduled to address election meetings in Shimla and Nalagarh in Solan district today.

This is Kharge's first visit to Himachal after becoming the National President of Congress. Today he will address two election meetings, one at Banooti in Shimla and the other at Panjhera in Nalagarh of Solan district. The election campaign in Himachal Pradesh will end tomorrow evening. After this, public meetings and other campaigns will stop. There will be only door-to-door campaigning.
