In Bihar, hectic campaigning is underway for the fifth and remaining phases of Lok Sabha elections. Star campaigners and senior leaders of NDA and Grand Alliance addressed several public meetings in support of their coalition candidates.

Senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a public meeting in Amnour under Saran Lok Sabha constituency. He alleged that RJD and Congress are trying to divide the country on the basis of reservation because they are supporting reservation on religious basis.  

Mr. Adityanath criticized RJD Chief Lalu Prasad for supporting reservation for Muslims. He said supporting reservation on the basis of religion is an insult to the Constitution of India. JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also took exception to Lalu Prasad for promoting dynastic politics.

constituency, Mr. Kumar said this led to corruption during the rule of RJD in Bihar.

He also participated in an election rally in Bairginia in Sheohar Lok Sabha constituency in support of JD(U) nominee.

Leaders of Rashtriya Lok Morcha, Lok Jan Shakti Party (Ramvilas) and Hindustani Awam Morcha also campaigned for NDA nominees.

Grand Alliance leaders of RJD, Congress, Vikas Sheel Insaan Party (VIP) and left party held several election rallies in poll bound regions.
RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav addressed public meetings in Madhubani, Sitamarhi and Saran Lok Sabha constituency.

Mr. Yadav alleged that BJP has a policy of discrimination and besides getting 39 seats of Lok Sabha for NDA in 2019 election Bihar was denied special status. VIP leader Mukesh Sahni also campaigned for Grand Alliance candidates.
