Campaigning for 1st phase of Chhattisgarh elections ends this evening

Campaigning for the first phase of assembly elections will end today in Chhattisgarh. 18 constituencies in eight Naxal-affected districts will go to polls in this phase.

 

The remaining 72 constituencies will witness polling on November 20 in the second and last phase. Counting of



votes will be held on December 11.

 

A total of 1,291 candidates are in the fray for the 90-member House.
