BMC Election LIVE: Voting underway, over 2000 candidates in fray

Elections to civic bodies including the pivotal Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) are underway in Maharashtra.

Voting is being held for a total of ten major civic bodies, including the cash

rich Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.

The BMC polls are being dubbed a 'mini assembly' elections and are being seen as a referendum on Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
