Plugging and stopping water leakage and pilferage, allocating 700 litre clean water per family free of cost, health insurance for Rs 101 are some of the promises made by the NCP in its manifesto for BMC polls released here.
“NCP’s priority will be to stop water leakage and theft which are at 35 per cent. Once we achieve this objective, we can provide 700-litre clean water to each family free of cost,” City unit NCP president Sachin Ahir told reporters after releasing the document.
He said with the basic charge of Rs 101, all Mumbaikars will be covered under a health insurance scheme that includes free hospitalisation, OPD examination, diagnostic tests, and medical store purchases, premium for which will be paid by the civic body.
