UAE reports new 2,742 Covid-19 cases, 17 fatalities

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Thursday reported 2,742 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,691 recoveries and 17 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 235,797 additional tests.

Over 31.5 million tests have



been conducted across the UAE to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.

The total number of cases in UAE as on March 4 are 402,205 while total recoveries stand at 387,278. The death toll rises to 1,286.
