UAE registers 388 new cases of coronavirus

UAE authorities announced a further 388 cases of coronavirus on Saturday, taking the total number of infections in the country to 44,533.

Officials also said an additional 758 patients had recovered from the virus, with nearly 32,000 people having now



beaten the disease.

To date, 301 people in the Emirates have died as a result of contracting Covid-19, with one patient still in critical condition.

Globally, there have been 8.7 million cases, causing more than 463,000 fatalities.
