UAE registers 2,051 Covid-19 cases, 8 deaths

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 2,051 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 2,741 recoveries and 8 deaths.

The new cases were detected through 236,988 additional tests.

Over

34.4 million tests have been carried out to date as part of the UAE's massive screening campaign.

The total number of cases in UAE as on March 17 are 432,364 while total recoveries stand at 413,477. The death toll rises to 1,414.
