Maharashtra's COVID-19 tally yesterday rose to 2,11,987 with 5,368 fresh cases.

According to the state health department, 204 new deaths were reported yesterday taking the toll to 9,206.

A total of 3,522 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the number of recovered persons to 1,15,262. While there are 87,681 active cases in the state at



present.

Mumbai's largest slum, Dharavi, yesterday reported 11 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total count to 2,334.

A senior Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said Dharavi has only 509 active cases now as 1,735 patients have already recovered and discharged from COVID-19 facilities.
