Telangana reports 623 new Covid-19 infections

Telangana reported 623 new Covid infections and three fatalities on Wednesday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,814 and the total number of positive cases to 6,47,229. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Wednesday, was 8,803.

On Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,12,796 Covid tests of which results of 1,696 samples were awaited. A total of 594 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of



98 per cent on Wednesday. So far, a total of 2,24,19,167 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,47,229 have tested positive and 6,34,612 persons have recovered.

The cases reported from the districts included 77 from areas under GHMC, 65 from Karimnagar, 59 from Warangal Urban, 52 from Khammam, and 41 each from Nalgonda and Peddapalli, among others.
