Telangana reports 449 new Covid-19 cases

Hyderabad: Telangana reported 449 new Covid infections and two fatalities on Sunday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 3,825 and the total number of positive cases to 6,49,406. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Sunday, was 8,406.

On Sunday, authorities conducted 79,231 Covid tests of which results of 1,444 samples were awaited. A total of 623 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98 per cent on Sunday. So far, a total of 2,28,22,154 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,49,406 have tested positive and 6,37,175 persons have recovered.

reported from the districts included one from Adilabad, 13 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 73 from areas under GHMC, 12 from Jagitial, five from Jangaon, two from Jogulamba Gadwal, 52 from Karimnagar, 31 from Khammam, three from Mahabubnagar, 15 from Mahabubabad, 11 from Mancherial, three from Medak, 30 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, four from Mulugu, six from Nagarkurnool, 12 from Nalgonda, one each from Nirmal and Nizamabad, 24 from Peddapalli, nine from Rajanna Sircilla, 35 from Rangareddy, six from Sangareddy, 12 from Siddipet, 14 from Suryapet, 19 from Warangal Rural, 45 from Warangal Urban and 10 from Yadadri Bhongir.
