Telangana records 1,813 new Coronavirus cases; 17 deaths

Telangana has reported 1813 new Covid infections and 17 fatalities on Wednesday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,426 and the total number of positive cases to 5,96,813. The number of active cases in the State as on Wednesday evening stood at 24,301.

Between Tuesday and Wednesday, authorities conducted 1,29,896 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 1,420 samples were awaited. On Wednesday, 1,801 individuals recovered with a recovery rate of 95.35 per cent. So far, a total of 1,62,57,268 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 5,96,813 have tested positive and 5,69,086 persons have recovered.

cases from Adilabad, 84 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 179 from areas under GHMC, 38 from Jagtiyal, 22 from Jangaon, 39 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 24 from Jogulamba Gadwal, six Kamareddy, 84 from Karimnagar, 180 from Khammam, 12 from Komarambheem Asifabad, 40 from Mahabubnagar, 65 from Mahabubabad, 58 from Mancherial, 17 from Medak, 89 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 39 from Mulugu, 34 from Nagarkurnool, 145 from Nalgonda, 18 from Narayanpet, nine from Nirmal, 21 from Nizamabad, 74 from Peddapalli, 33 from Rajanna Siricilla, 109 from Rangareddy, 39 from Sangareddy, 52 from Siddipet, 91 from Suryapet, 42 from Vikarabad, 35 from Wanaparthy, 30 from Warangal Rural, 64 from Warangal Urban and 35 from Yadadri Bhongir.
