Telangana records 1,707 new Coronavirus cases

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,707 new Covid infections and 16 fatalities on Friday pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,456 and the total number of positive cases to 6,00,318. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Friday evening, stood at 22,759.

Between Thursday and Friday, authorities conducted 1,24,066 Covid tests of which results of 1,009 samples were awaited. On Friday, 2,493 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 95.63 per cent. So far, a total of 1,65,11,764 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,00,318 have tested positive and 5,74,103 persons have recovered.

cases from Adilabad, 95 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 158 from areas under GHMC, 32 from Jagtial, 16 from Jangaon, 44 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 17 from Jogulamba Gadwal, six Kamareddy, 84 from Karimnagar, 124 from Khammam, six from Kumram Bheem Asifabad, 54 from Mahabubnagar, 81 from Mahabubabad, 70 from Mancherial, 13 from Medak, 79 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 39 from Mulugu, 30 from Nagarkurnool, 147 from Nalgonda, 12 from Narayanpet, five from Nirmal, 13 from Nizamabad, 66 from Peddapalli, 38 from Rajanna Siricilla, 96 from Rangareddy, 36 from Sangareddy, 67 from Siddipet, 68 from Suryapet, 32 from Vikarabad, 36 from Wanaparthy, 31 from Warangal Rural, 67 from Warangal Urban and 40 from Yadadri Bhongir.
