Telangana detects 1,550 new cases of COVID-19, 9 deaths confirmed

Telangana reported 1550 Covid-19 positive cases and nine fatalities on Monday, pushing the toll to 365 and cumulative number of positive cases to 36,221. In the last 24 hours, the number of samples tested has touched a record high in the State with authorities testing 11,525 samples out of which 9,975 have tested



negative.

Out of the 1,550 positive cases, 926 were from areas under GHMC, while 212 persons tested positive from Rangareddy and another 53 from Medchal district.

On Monday, 1,197 persons, were discharged, taking the overall number of recoveries to 23,679 while the number of active cases has reached 12,178.
