Tamil Nadu reports 1,657 new Coronavirus cases

Chennai: Tamil Nadu registered one thousand 657 new COVID cases yesterday. One thousand 662 patients were discharged after recovery. A total of 19 deaths due to COVID infection were reported during the last 24

hours.

The number of active cases is presently 17 thousand 261. A total number of one lakh 51 thousand 880 samples were tested by RT- PCR method in the state during the last 24 hours.
