Saudi Arabia witnesses 1,686 new Covid-19 cases

The Saudi Arabia health ministry on Friday reported 1,686 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 4,460 recoveries.

Twenty-four cases of death were also reported.

This takes



the total number of reported cases in the country to 275,905, while recoveries are at 235,658. Deaths from the infection now stand at 2,866.

There are 37,381 active cases in the country, of which 2,033 are critical.
