PM Modi's mother Hiraba contributes Rs 25,000 from her personal savings to PM-CARES Fund against COVID-19

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Hiraba will also be making her contribution in the fight against coronavirus.

Hiraba will be contributing Rs 25,000 from her personal savings to the PM-CARES Fund which has been set up to provide relief to millions affected by Covid-19 in India.

"People from all



walks of life expressed their desire to donate to India's war against Covid-19," he said, adding the fund has been constituted respecting that spirit.

"It is my appeal to my fellow Indians, kindly contribute to the PM-CARES Fund. This Fund will also cater to similar distressing situations if they occur in the times ahead," he said.
