Maharashtra registers 6,397 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours

The health department on Monday stated that Maharashtra reported 6,397 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases stands at 21,61,467.

However, 30 people succumbed to the virus thus taking the death



toll to 52,184.On the brighter side, 5,754 patients got discharged on Monday.

The recovery rate in the state is 93.94%.In Maharashtra, 3,43,947 people are put in home quarantine while 3,482 people are in institutional quarantine.
