Maharashtra registers 1,825 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: Maharashtra’s tally of cases has risen to 65,96,645, with 1,825 new cases of COVID-19. According to the state’s public health department, the number of recoveries increased by 2,879 to reach 64,27,426 while the death toll went up by 21 to reach 1,39,886.

The number of active cases in Maharashtra



stands at  25,728. Maharashtra’s recovery rate stands at  97.43 percent while the case fatality rate stands at 2.12 percent. Mumbai reported 462 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of cases in Mumbai to 7,52,806. The city reported 558 recoveries and four deaths yesterday.
