Maharashtra records 84 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: Maharashtra recorded 84 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, taking the state’s tally of total cases to 78,76,925. According to the State’s Public Health Department, 71 patients were discharged yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 77,28,162.

With no COVID-19 induced deaths reported in the last 24



hours, the state’s death toll remains at 1,47,834. The number of active cases in the state stands at 929.  With 45 new cases, Mumbai’s caseload has increased to 10,58,409. At 532, Mumbai continues to have the maximum number of active cases followed by Pune that has 207 cases.
