Maharashtra records 536 new Covid-19 cases

Mumbai: With 536 new COVID-19 cases reported yesterday, Maharashtra recorded the lowest daily count of fresh cases of the infection since last seven months. The number of active cases in the state has also come down to 7,854.

Meanwhile, 21 people were reported to



have died due to the infection during the same period in the state taking the number of total fatalities to 1,40,962. The Mumbai circle consisting of Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Palghar and Raigad districts recorded 264 new cases.
