Maharashtra records 39,207 new COVID-19 cases, 53 deaths

Maharashtra on Tuesday, January 18, recorded 39,207 fresh COVID-19 cases, taking the number of active cases to 2,67,659. Besides, 53 COVID-19 deaths were reported in the day, taking the number of total

fatalities to 1,41,885.

38,824 patients were discharged in the day, taking the tally to 68,68,816. The recovery rate in the state is 94.32%. The case fatality rate in the state is 1.94%.
