Kerala reports its 5th Covid-19 death

Kerala reported its 5th COVID-19 death late last night. The 73-year-old deceased lady hailed from Thrissur district. She returned  from Mumbai, along with three of her relatives, by road on May 19 to Kerala. Her situation turned critical with breathlessness and was admitted in Hospital and was tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday.The woman suffered from hypertension and



diabetes. The three relatives and driver , who had travelled with her from Mumbai, too have also been put under observation.

Meanwhile Kerala continue to report a spike in Covid-19 cases with 24 more  positive cases being confirmed lately, taking the total active cases to 177 in the State
