Kerala reports 1,211 new Covid-19 cases yesterday

Kerala Health Minister K K Shailaja has informed that 1,211 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the state yesterday while 970 people recovered from the disease. 1,026 are cases of local transmission and the contact source of 103 is not traceable. 76 cases are returnees from foreign countries and 78 from other states.

Two Covid



related deaths were also reported taking the death toll to 108 in Kerala.

27 healthcare workers were also infected by the disease.

So far, 21,836 people have been cured from Coronavirus infection and presently, 12,347 patients are still under treatment.
