Kerala records 17,983 fresh Covid cases

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala witnesses a slight  hike in Covid figures as it confirms 17,983  new covid positive cases yesterday. 

The test positivity rate stands at  16.27  percent. 

Over  one lakh 10,523  samples were tested in the last 24



hours. 

127 deaths were also confirmed due to Covid yesterday, taking the death toll to 24,318. 

Bringing respite,  15,054  recoveries were also reported. 

At present, over 1,60,000 people are undergoing covid treatment in the state.
