Karnataka reports 9,543 new Covid-19 positive cases

In Karnataka 9,543 new Covid-19 positive cases reported on Sunday taking the tally to 5,75,566. 

On the other hand 6,522 people recovered from the disease and discharged in the State. 

As many as 1,04,724 active patients are taking treatment in various hospitals in the State.

79 covid patients lost their life and the total fatalities



have gone up to 8,582.

According the State Health bulletin 67,857 covid tests were conducted on Sunday and the total tests have increased to 45,86,780. 

Among the new cases Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest number of 4,217 followed by Mysuru with 952, Dakshina Kannada 460 and Hassan with 408.
