Karnataka reports 1,336 new Covid-19 cases

In Karnataka 1,336 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported

yesterday taking the tally to 8,64,140. On the other hand 2,100 people were cured from the disease and discharged from various hospitals in the State.

So far 8,27,241 people were cured from the disease. 16 Covid deaths were reported during the period taking the total fatalities to 11,557. At present 25,323 active patients are taking



treatment in various hospitals in the State among them 693 are in ICU.

75,384 samples were tested yesterday and the total number of samples tested have increased to 96,44,009. Among the new cases Bengaluru Urban district reported with the highest number of 729 cases.

In nine districts the new covid cases are reported with single digit.
