India records 375 fresh new covid cases; 2 deaths

India reported a spike of 375 Covid cases on January 14, with an active caseload of 3,075. The death toll remained at

5,33,414.

The rise in cases is attributed to the Omicron sub-variant JN.1 and declining temperatures. The country's recovery rate is 98.81%, with a fatality rate of 1.18%.
