Gujarat reports 13,805 new Covid cases

Ahmedabad: Gujarat reported 13,805 new cases of Covid-19 during the last 24 hours. According to the state health department, 4,361 new cases were recorded in Ahmedabad, while Surat registered 2,543 new cases.

The state has 1 lakh 35 thousand 148 active cases at present, out of which 284 patients are on ventilator support. 25 patients lost their lives due to Covid-19



yesterday.

Meanwhile, 1 lakh 70 thousand 290 doses of COVID vaccine were administered in Gujarat yesterday. The total number of vaccine doses administered in the state till now has crossed 9 crore 65 lakh mark.  

Ahmedabad Municipal corporation declared 21 new micro containment zones yesterday.
