Covid-19 cases cross 800 mark in Bihar

Bihar crossed the 800 mark with 81 people testing positive for Covid-19 taking the total 830 with six deaths so far in the state. 383 patients have been recovered and they were discharged from hospitals. 441 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. Positive cases have been detected in 190 migrant labourers. Maximum positive cases of migrants who have returned from Delhi with 55 of them testing positive, followed by 46 from Gujrat, 44 Maharashtra and 16 from West



Bengal.
 
Amid lockdown Jeevika Didis from different Self Help Groups (SHG) have made over 24 lakhs masks in Bihar. Their transaction is worth rupees 2.30 crore. They have earned profit of one crore 65 lakh. About 2 thousand four hundred SHGs are making five to six thousand masks everyday. Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar told that masks prepared by Jeevika Didi are available at rate of rupees 15 only which is cheaper than general market.
