Covid-19: Andhra Pradesh logs 14,440 new virus infections, 3 deaths on Sunday

Amaravati: Continuing the alarming upward trend, as many as 14,440 new COVID infections were detected during the past 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh.
Besides, three deaths were recorded on Saturday–one each in
Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, Guntur and Prakasam districts. Visakhapatnam accounted for the highest number of cases on the day at 2,258, Ananatapur 1534, Guntur 1458, Prakasam 1399, Kurnool 1238, Chittoor 1198, East Godavari 1012 and Nellore 1103.
