Bihar witness highest spike in Covid-19 cases

Bihar witnessed the highest spike in Covid-19 cases and deaths yesterday. Seven thousand 487 active cases of Covid-19 were reported during 24 hours in the state and 74  deaths were also reported. With this casualties due to pandemic has gone up to 1790. Maximum positive cases of two thousand 672 reported from Patna. Infection rate in the state has arisen to over 24



percent.

Active cases in the state have gone upto 49 thousand 527 and they are undergoing treatment at different hospitals. Recovery rate is decreasing and it is now at  84.52 percent.

Meanwhile, one lakh 04 thousand people took the vaccine yesterday. Over 60 lakh 27 thousand 907 people have so far been vaccinated in the state.
