Bihar records 3,646 new Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours

Bihar reported the highest single day spike of 3,646 COVID 19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this the total number of positive cases mounted to 71 thousand 794. Patients who had recovered so far are 46,265.

 

25,128 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. Four hundred patients died due to Corona. Recovery rate is over 64 percent. Record 71 thousand 520 samples were tested in past



24 hours. Altogether over Eight lakh 70 thousand tests have been conducted so far.

 

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar instructed health officials to ensure that those keen are tested for Corona. He also instructed to increase the number of beds at all dedicated Covid hospitals and also ensure supply of oxygen through pipeline to the maximum beds.
