Bihar records 352 new Covid-19 cases

Patna: In Bihar, the number of daily Covid cases continues to increase with 352 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

The number of active covid cases in the state increased to 1074. A maximum of 634 cases were reported from Patna followed by 277 in Gaya. Altogether 84 doctors and MBBS students of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital, Patna have also tested positive for



Covid-19. 

Meanwhile, Genome sequencing at IGIMS in Patna started on Sunday.

 

Health Minister Mangal Pandey said the state government has planned to complete the vaccination of kids in the age group of  15 to 18 years by the end of this month. 83 lakhs teenagers are eligible to take their first dose of Covid vaccine from today.
